TipidGas was born when 2 of our friends were complaining of high gas prices in their area and one of them mentioned that once when he was driving to Manila, he gassed up at their local fuel station only to find that at the next town, which was just a few kilometers down, the prices of fuel was significantly cheaper. He also mentioned that if there were local websites like those in the USA that gave motorists info about fuel prices, then he would stand to save some of his gas money. The other one, who happened to manage a popular website, said that was a great idea and suggested why don’t they put up a similar website for the Philippines. So they recruited 2 other friends to help them put their idea into action. And that was how TipidGas started.
